Tarahara Public Library Project
We have decided to open a library for the people of Tarahara. We think this will be a very noble deed for the town. It is a big task and requires large amount of funding and manpower. The major source of funding will be collected from former residents of the town who are now living abroad in countries like the United States, Hong Kong, United Kingdom, France, Australia, UAE and others. However we do need volunteers from the town to take charge of the construction and money management.
At this time we do not have specific plans set out about the construction project. We did talk to people back home and everybody seems to be very excited about the project. We think it will be great and is ineed very needed for the town. We are working on getting public land for the library.
If you have any ideas, suggestions or concerns please write to us at admin@tarahara.info. We also need to decide on the name and design of the library.
